What I learn writing my video script that I didn’t know before

A video script is a written document that outlines the dialogue, action, and other elements of a video production.

This is typically used as a guide for filming and editing, and may include instructions for camera angles, special effects, and other technical details. Video scripts can be written for a variety of types of videos, including commercials, movies, television shows, and educational videos. They are typically written by a screenwriter or other professional in the film and television industry, but can also be created by anyone looking to make a video.

Some advantages that I learned to using a video script when creating a video production are the following:

  1. Organization: A script provides a clear and organized structure for the video, which can make it easier to plan and execute the filming and editing process.

  2. Communication: A script can be used to communicate the vision for the video to all members of the production team, including actors, directors, and camera operators.

  3. Efficiency: Having a script can help streamline the production process, making it more efficient and reducing the need for multiple takes or re-shoots.

  4. Consistency: A script can help ensure that the overall tone and message of the video remains consistent throughout the production.

  5. Flexibility: A script allows for changes to be made during the pre-production stage, rather than during filming, which can save time and money.

  6. Better story-telling: Scripts can be used to create a coherent and engaging story for the audience, rather than just a random collection of shots.

Video scripts are the best way to plan and organize a project. By doing it, I could organize my ideas and set up a good video production for the upcoming weeks.
