What strengths and weaknesses does feature writing have over news writing?

This week I had the oportunity to experience with feature writing, I have wrote news articles in the previous weeks. After experimenting with both styles these are the strenghts and weknesses that does feature writiing have over news writing in my opinion.

Feature writing and news writing are two distinct types of writing that have their own strengths and weaknesses. Here are some of the main differences between them:

Strengths of feature writing over news writing:

• Flexibility: Feature writing is less constrained by deadlines and word limits, which allows the writer to take a more creative approach to the topic.

• Depth: Feature writing typically allows for more in-depth reporting and analysis than news writing, which can provide readers with a better understanding of the subject matter.

Weaknesses of feature writing compared to news writing:
